As an actress, Parisa has worked on original contemporary musicals such as MAMMA MIA! (UK/International Tour,) the UK tour of recording artist, Sting’s, The Last Ship, We Live In Cairo, an original piece about the 2009 Egyptian Revolution, rehearsed and debuted at the American Repertory Theatre in Boston, USA. She starred in Fisherman’s Friends, a new musical which premiered at the Hall for Cornwall in Truro and went on a UK/Canada Tour 2022-2023.

In 2025, she played Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar at The Watermill Theatre, where the show won Best Musical Production at The UK Theatre Awards. She is currently playing Mrs Cratchit in A Christmas Carol at The Old Vic, London until January 2026.
